Change the World

Hubby and I were talking this morning. We were once again solving all of the world's problems (we do this a couple times a month or so) and he got a little frustrated because that's all we ever do. We talk, but we don't actually do anything. And he's right, we don't. We have a lot of wonderful ideas, but we never act on them. Part of it is that we both work full time and we're still scraping by. Part of that is because I just graduated last spring, and I just finally got a decent job a few months ago, so we're still catching up, but I digress.

We may not be very well off, but we're still far better off than many. We may not have a whole lot of leisure time, but it only takes a few hours to make a huge difference. We have some good ideas for a community center, but we only plan on being in this area for a couple more years at most, and seems like it would take at least that long to get anything really established. So we're looking for a good volunteer opportunity that we can donate a couple of hours to each weekend. Any ideas?
